Smashroom Music & Wellbeing CIC was born from friendship, music and the lasting legacy of our close friend, local solo singer Pete Graham.
When Pete sadly passed away, a group of friends began meeting at The Smashroom to sing, play, share memories and support one another. What started as people coming together through a difficult time quickly became something much bigger.
As the sessions grew, Pete's children, Shannon and Aaron, joined us alongside other friends and local musicians. We saw first-hand how music could reduce isolation, rebuild confidence and create a genuine sense of belonging.
Those informal evenings became a community interest company. Our mission is simple: to use the power of music to improve wellbeing, build confidence, reduce loneliness and help people feel they belong.
